It’s 1933 and New York is in the grip of The Great Depression. Annie is a fiery young girl who lives with other girls in an orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Despite being abandoned as a baby and living under the dismal care of the heartless Miss Hannigan, Annie remains an optimist and spreads cheer to whoever she meets. 

Annie's life changes dramatically when she is selected to spend Christmas at the residence of the billionaire Oliver Warbucks. With the help of Mr Warbucks, Annie begins a search for her missing parents and helps inspire President Roosevelt to help the people worse hit by the Depression. However, Miss Hannigan, her ex-con brother Rooster and the ditsy Lily St Regis are hatching a money-making scheme which threatens to destroy everything for Annie. 

Featuring well known songs such as ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Hard Knock Life’ and ‘Easy Street’, this production will appeal to people of all ages.
